so i admitted to my husband last night that i like barry manilow + i guess now to you as well. why am i telling you this? well, because of the title post [mandy-duh] + because i am open to being a little vulnerable. this shoot was done at the end of my winter hibernation. i hadn't picked up my camera in months + i was in some serious need of getting out of my website designing funk + actually creating something. so an opportunity arose to shoot in a quirky old school. mandy, a dear + willing friend agreed to be the life in these school still-life series. i admit i didn't really have a focus. i just wanted to shoot. to play with light + shadows. but i feel like without a point of view i may have failed but i blame being just newly out of hibernation.
this little guy is 6 months old + really steals the show with his expressive eyes + lashes that go on for days. he has this look about him that makes you know he is gonna be a good joke teller. i am smitten with this family + another major perk about capturing all their major milestones is getting to visit with their adorable pup, henry. here are a few favs from their recent fall session.
these two took me to parts of Boston that I have never explored before. we even crashed the harvard rowing docks for a different perspective of the beautiful city. looking forward to their winter wedding at rosecliff mansion in a few months.
