Jill + Doug got engaged last October in front of this very fountain at the towers in Narragansett, RI, so we had to return for their engagement session. So happy they brought their adorable dog Benji along! Their wedding will be held next summer at the lovely Shepherd’s Run. [can’t wait!] Long-time vacationers to the area + Doug being a URI alumnus, they feel a special draw to this beach town. Here are just a few of my favorite frames from their engagement session over Memorial Day weekend.

It has been a while since I have been in a city as diverse + electric as Brooklyn. I heart it big time. Julia + Fletcher threw out the idea of me traveling down to the city for their engagement session + it didn’t take much convincing, as I love to photograph in new places. But I also got to combine it with an overdue family/sister visit, so it was perfect.

The session began on a busy afternoon in Prospect Park. Somehow, these two made it feel like no one else was around. A quick subway ride to the infamous dumbo area for sunset for an iconic portrait with the Manhattan Bridge in the background. It was a quick whirlwind tour + I really can’t wait to go back. Looking forward to the wedding in Jamestown, RI, this summer. But for now, here are just a few frames…
