it may not have been my brightest idea ever but i brought ice cream cake to the party. joseph didn’t seem to mind. glad his parents came prepared with wipes + extra clothes. despite that decision we had a great time walking around mt hope farm to capture the cuteness of being 1. nicole + joe had their wedding reception at cove cabin 5 years ago so it held a lot of special memories to go back as a family. i have loved seeing joseph’s growth from newborn to 6 months to now 1 year.
mr. sable likes cheese. i like mr. sable’s mohawk. we had a fun time traipsing around his back yard on the west side of providence to capture all of his puppy personality. there was some bribing involved. but as always i had so much fun doing this pet portrait and am looking forward to doing more in the future. 10% of all pet portrait sessions will be donated to the providence animal rescue league. click here if you want more details. for now enjoy mr. sable
if you know me you know that i am a dog lover. this summer my shiba inu, rocco inspired me to do more pet portraits. hendrix was just one of my furry participants + i have to say looking at his sweet expressive face has made me want to only photograph dogs, well, not really, but i enjoyed the change of pace with these summer dog portraits. if you are interested in a pet portrait session let me know!
