I am in constant awe of nature. it’s resilience especially. it got me to wondering if there are people who do not observe it in this way. who fail to look up or look closely. missing the transient blooms, first ground breaking feats. I wish that everyone would experience this awe + appreciation because it is so humbling + for me, so comforting. I guess it is appropriate that since we celebrated earth day 2021 that my pics are mostly of the green variety.
the past two weeks there was sunshine, new flowers, first shots [YAY], house projects, work projects, + of course me torturing Oskar to be my muse. with each passing day, hope grew
4 years ago I photographed their Boston MA wedding + on Saturday I got to photograph their first-ever family portrait with the newest addition, 1-year-old Kieran. we had beautiful sunny weather but in usual cape cod fashion a ton of wind. regardless we had lots of laughs mixed with beautiful beach views. can I just tell you how much I adore a 1-year-old who already knows how to belly laugh? it is a favorite of mine + this lil guy is a pro at it. he also has the greatest taste in music, too. special thanks to Nana for supplying the tunes!
