Interwebs meet Daisy. she is a 4-month-old some type retriever breed [Kelsey + Bryce told me several times but I was so distracted by her puppy cuteness that I forgot to listen]. When they proposed this session back to me in June I was all in cause puppies duh, but also it was so nice to hang with this lovely couple again, Daisy was just an added bonus. You may remember them from their providence engagement session or their New Bedford Whaling Museum wedding. But I am sure in the future you will only remember them from this session cause once again PUPPIES! duh. We introduced Daisy to sand for the first time at the West Greenwich Sand Dunes. You can tell by her sandy snout that she loved it. At only 4 months, I can tell she is going to be well behaved + well loved. Looking forward to more portrait sessions with these 3!
From their casual backyard rehearsal dinner at a friend’s house to their Regatta Place nuptials, Alli + Nick exuded absolute joy. As Bristol RI natives, Newport made a great destination for all their friends traveling from CA + the East Bay. Regatta Place was the perfect waterfront backdrop for this wedding as well as choosing to have a RI Lobster Boil. It is a quintessential summer experience that captures the spirit of coastal living. RI Lobster Boils are a true embodiment of summer on the coast, a cherished tradition that captures the essence of this vibrant and picturesque state. They had so many other cool touches as well like Nick arriving with his guys via a boat + Alli sporting some Stevie Nicks sleeves at the end of the reception but really these two could make a party anywhere. I am still waiting for my invitation to a CA wine tour with them [hint, hint] They are just that type of fun-loving down-to-earth people that create this atmosphere of excitement + enjoyment. what an absolutely beautiful June day we had for this intimate wedding at shelter harbor inn in westerly ri. well, beautiful but also blazing hot. we headed out to the beach at high noon with the blaring sun but who cares because the way these two looked at each other…eh gads I would sweat + go blind all over again to document it. Megan just oozes this confidence, beauty, grace, + style. hello, do you see her mix-matched earrings, those shoes, + clutch…HELL YES!! + don’t even get me started on Jonathan + his easy-going sweet demeanor. Their vows! The honey walnut feeding ceremony!! Megan’s dad performing the ceremony!!! HELL YES!!!! Having 3Gregg’s cakes… makes me want to swear I love it so much! Oh wait, I guess I already did.
