What an amazing celebration Monsurat had for her 40th birthday! Surrounded by her closest family and friends who flew in from around the world, the love in the room was truly tangible. The Gardiner House in Newport, RI, provided the perfect, elegant backdrop for the evening. An exceptionally warm July Friday night felt all the more special—and a bit cooler—thanks to this beautiful, joyful gathering.

Jill + Doug got engaged last October in front of this very fountain at the towers in Narragansett, RI, so we had to return for their engagement session. So happy they brought their adorable dog Benji along! Their wedding will be held next summer at the lovely Shepherd’s Run. [can’t wait!] Long-time vacationers to the area + Doug being a URI alumnus, they feel a special draw to this beach town. What a wonderful way to commemorate a 50th wedding anniversary! I might need three hands now to count the times I've been lucky enough to spend time with these families and help document their lives and growth. I truly love having this reason to gather and celebrate. Fifty years of marriage is no small feat — what a beautiful family you have.
