When you are running for town council in the smallest, coolest town in RI, you need some new headshots. I was happy to oblige when Jim asked me about this portrait session. What an amazing celebration Monsurat had for her 40th birthday! Surrounded by her closest family and friends who flew in from around the world, the love in the room was truly tangible. The Gardiner House in Newport, RI, provided the perfect, elegant backdrop for the evening. An exceptionally warm July Friday night felt all the more special—and a bit cooler—thanks to this beautiful, joyful gathering.
