It has been a while since I have been in a city as diverse + electric as Brooklyn. I heart it big time. Julia + Fletcher threw out the idea of me traveling down to the city for their engagement session + it didn’t take much convincing, as I love to photograph in new places. But I also got to combine it with an overdue family/sister visit, so it was perfect.
The session began on a busy afternoon in Prospect Park. Somehow, these two made it feel like no one else was around. A quick subway ride to the infamous dumbo area for sunset for an iconic portrait with the Manhattan Bridge in the background. It was a quick whirlwind tour + I really can’t wait to go back. Looking forward to the wedding in Jamestown, RI, this summer. But for now, here are just a few frames…
